Thank You For Re-Electing Julie Daley

We start the new Civic Year by thanking all residents for supporting Julie Daley in the Local Elections. Its great to know that we have your continued support for the work that we do in the Ward and the Borough. Your Conservative team will continue to work hard on your behalf.

WARD SOLUTIONS MEETING

The next Ward solutions meeting is being held on at 10.30am on Saturday the 26th May at Blackburn Golf Club .
Your local Councillors have tried to arrange the Ward Solutions Meetings to be in as many different parts of the Ward as possible thus reaching out to as many communities as possible. Meetings have been held at Lammack Methodist Church, Beardwood High School, Blackburn Rugby Club and return to Blackburn Golf Club for the next meeting.
Different days and times but have also been tried but it has been found that Saturday mornings are the most successful. We are very lucky to be able to work with such a great neighbourhood team. Lesley Fox, the Community Officer and PCSO Mark Shepherd provide advice and answers to our resident's concerns and help organise events such as the walk mentioned elsewhere in this leaflet.
All residents are welcome to attend and we look forward to meeting more of you.

Nationally

We welcome the drive towards tougher sentences for those involved in the recent riots and hope this signals an intention by the government to crack down on criminal and antisocial behaviour throughout the country.
